Job Summary:
Provide technical assistance to the manufacturing engineering team and the production team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist manufacturing engineering with new equipment start up and debug.
Write process specifications for new processes.
Process test runs and prepare records, charts and graphs of results for engineering presentations.
Identify yield problems, report daily and weekly charts for equipment efficacy.
Follow problem solving techniques.
Train and assist production floor with equipment set up and process specification revisions.
Troubleshoot production equipment; take necessary steps to document changes to the process equipment.
Assist Quality Assurance group on individual customer quality problems
Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment. Identify and resolve potential safety hazards.
Lead continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste within the production environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Provides a "Customer Service" attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation and environment at all times.

Education and Experience:
Education: High School or Equivalent
Experience: Less than 3 years
Experience: Minimum two years in manufacturing. 2+ years of medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred
Machine shop, machine assembly, design, control logic basics, AutoCAD experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
Knowledge of basic principle of SPC
Computer literate
Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
Able to comply with the company's safety policy at all times
Able to comply with the company's quality policy at all times.

Physical and Travel Requirements
Must be able to work assigned shift(s) with overtime as required to complete assignments if necessary. Sitting and/or standing for extended periods may occur as well as getting to and from offices and building sites. If specifically necessitated by customer requirements, must be able to see with or without corrective lenses and distinguish color differences for product and safety issues. Hearing ability should be sufficient to hear and react to audible alarms from distances up to 150 feet. The ability to be able to lift and carry various items up to 50 pounds for manufacturing positions or 30 pounds for administrative positions is required.
