Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responds to user request for software/hardware service or support both onsite and remote locations.
- Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of software used throughout the organization.
- Trains users in startup, basic and advanced use of software programs. May provide group training on request.
- Active participant in cross functional teams, committees, or special projects with the objective of personal development or mentoring other employees in an area of expertise.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate Degree plus a minimum of two years previous experience in Information Technology and/or Customer Service required; a suitable combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, assessment, and follow up skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn and accept progressively more responsibility within the Information Technology department.
Physical Demands:
- Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Noise level in work environment is moderate.
- Safety glasses, hearing protection and closed toe shoes must be worn on the production floor.
- Limited travel but may be required.
