The team oversees all global product marketing strategy for the fixed video and access control portfolio, develops messaging and go to market strategy for the VS&A business, creates and drives marketing programs and campaigns aimed to generate leads and build brand awareness among target audiences, including system integrators, end-users and consultants. The Global VS&A Marketing team oversees all aspects of elevating and driving growth for our video brands as a part of the broader Motorola Solutions ecosystem.Job Description
Motorola Solutions is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic marketing leader to bring a market-driven, customer-focused approach to execute our global marketing strategy for the Avigilon brand. This individual will lead a team of marketing professionals, including channel, sales enablement and email marketing. This team is responsible for launching incentives and promotions, internal and external communications, marketing material, campaigns and tools & resources to support our internal sellers and channel partners.
The Senior Marketing Manager is a high visibility role that works closely with global sales leadership to create a marketing strategy that drives demand and helps our sales team and partners sell more effectively. This team also works collaboratively with product marketing, performance marketing, channel and sales operations, events, digital experience and more to create one integrated strategy. This leader will have strong business fluency and the ability to connect the dots and take action to grow the business and engage sales.
Responsibilities
Work closely with leadership to understand go-to-market strategy, and translate business priorities into an integrated marketing strategy that enables sellers, partners and ultimately grows the business.
Develop an internal and external communication strategy to announce new incentive programs, promotions, campaigns and a range of corporate updates.
Develop, execute and report on campaigns to drive demand.
Manage, motivate, inspire and lead a team with clear direction, strategy and objective goals.
Act as a cross-functional marketing leader and collaborate with sales, performance marketing, product marketing, events, sales/channel operations and digital experience teams on a wide-range of campaigns and initiatives that impact sellers and partners.
Provide feedback on marketing and sales enablement materials.
Work with marketing operations to manage budget and forecasting.
Translate messaging into actionable sales pitches, email templates, social media kits, conversation guides and other tools. Enable business development and sales teams to have consistent, effective and engaging sales conversations with prospects and customers.
Manage timelines, communications and best practices around content / program development.
Preferred Skills:
6+ years of experience in a related marketing role
4+ years of people management
Bachelors of Business Administration
A self-motivated, critical thinker with strong business acumen who can define, drive and deliver on objectives and is motivated to succeed
Effective problem-solver who is able to drive multiple projects at once
Excellent written, verbal and communication skills and understanding of brand tone and voice
Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Strong attention to detail and project management skills
Experience in B2B is preferred
Knowledge and experience marketing security solutions or other enterprise technology is a plusBasic Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience
