Job Description

Our client is seeking a maintenance technician with electrical experience to join their team in a busy production facility. Responsibilities include routine and emergency maintenance on machinery and the facilities including Vacuum systems and PLC controls. If you enjoy troubleshooting along with maintaining and repairing equipment, this is the role for you!
Location: Madison Heights, MI
Pay: $25-30/hr. BOE
Position type: Full time, Long term
Qualifications: (an Ideal candidate will have the following)

1+ year maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing environment
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with Vacuum Technology.
Strong ability with understanding failure mechanisms, ability to isolate determine root cause, and repair.
Strong electrical skills.
Working knowledge of control systems, PLC controls.
Able to work independently, is a self-starter, and is highly motivated to complete projects and meet deadlines.
Possess good communication skills; able to clearly communicate with peers, management, and suppliers, both verbally and in email communication.
