Work at Interlochen Arts Camp as one of our Dining Services Managers for the upcoming season. Employment dates are 6/14/23 - 8/20/23. A meal is included with every shift. Early sign-on bonus and successful completion bonuses are available for $50 each. Apply today and join us for a memorable summer! Housing is available for $15/night in a shared living space, if needed, provided you live 40 miles or more from Interlochen.  If living on campus, all meals are included as well.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assist with running the daily operations of the Dining Service Department
• Schedule employees on a weekly basis
• Responsible for menu signage for each meal period
• Ensure employees have been assigned their positions and duties for the meal period
• Instruct employees on proper portion control, and review menu offerings so employees know what they are serving
• Make sure employees are well groomed and in proper uniform with hair restraints and gloves
• Responsible for high standards of organization, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety practices in the dining room and serving areas
• Oversee the compliance of state health regulations in the safe handling, storage, and service of all food items
• Supervise daily serving staff
• Establish a close working relationship with Administration and all other departments
• Be comfortable with all equipment used: hot boxes, steamers, hot serving lines, soup pots
