Emergency & Spill Response Technician (On-Call)

Job Description

This requires being on call 24 hours/ 7 days a week
This position requires traveling
Transporting waste to disposal sites as needed
Assist with invoicing process to include providing necessary documentation to Project Control Specialists as requested
Direct customer interaction
Ensure the trailer is stocked and tools are on hand
Check all equipment before/after use to make sure it’s in good working condition
Support and comply with all components of the company’s safety program
Regular physical and reliable attendance are essential functions of this position

Additional Requirements

Clean driving record in accordance with the company’s current auto insurance carrier
Clean background
CDL with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements
Able to understand basic equipment operating instructions and safe work practices
Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Must be professional and courteous
Good math skills
Must be thoroughly familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations
Must be familiar with Hazardous Transportation regulations
