Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Computer Skills - Minimum of three years experience working with solid modeling software such as Solidworks, Autocad 2D or Autodesk Inventor as well as solid experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook email. Solidworks experience is preferred.
If you have actual work experience using the Solidworks Sheet Metal function, and a strong attention to detail and a high accuracy in your drawings, you are one step ahead!
An Associates or higher degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design is preferred.
This position requires an individual with a strong work ethic who is self-motivated and self-sufficient.
Due to the high degree of precision required by many of our customers, there is a necessity for a CAD Designer who has strong math skills and excellent knowledge of drafting standards.
Successful candidates should provide a proven record of education and experience, and be able to demonstrate their capabilities in the interview process.
Must have own reliable transportation and pass a pre-employment Drug Test and physical .
Our CAD Designer must be available to work Saturday hours, if needed.
