This 16-week program prepares students for a career supporting pharmacists and healthcare teams in retail, hospital, and clinical pharmacy settings. Students gain the knowledge, technical skills, and confidence needed to assist with medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management while ensuring patient safety and accuracy.
Classes are online, live, and instructor-led, meeting for 90 minutes twice a week. Students learn in an engaging, structured environment that combines practical instruction with real-world pharmacy procedures.
Training covers essential responsibilities including medication dispensing and labeling, dosage calculations, pharmacy law and regulations, inventory and record management, prescription processing, and professional communication. Students also learn safety protocols, HIPAA compliance, and customer service skills necessary for supporting patients and healthcare providers.
The program prepares students for nationally recognized professional credentials and includes career coaching and job-readiness support, including resume development and interview guidance. From enrollment through employment, students receive guidance every step of the way to feel confident, prepared, and ready to start a career in pharmacy support.
