This program prepares students for hands-on patient care roles in hospitals and other acute care settings in just 12 weeks. Students gain the foundational skills and confidence needed to support patients with daily care needs while working as part of a clinical healthcare team.
Classes are online, live, and instructor-led, meeting for 90 minutes twice a week. Instruction is practical, structured, and focused on real-world patient care scenarios commonly encountered in hospital environments.
Training emphasizes essential bedside care skills such as taking vital signs, assisting with mobility and transfers, infection control, patient safety, basic monitoring and observation, and effective communication with patients and clinical staff. Students also learn professionalism, documentation basics, and how to support patient comfort and dignity in fast-paced care settings. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy active work, teamwork, and direct patient interaction.
The cost of the national professional credential exam is included, helping students graduate prepared without additional testing expenses. Career coaching and job-readiness support are provided throughout the program. From enrollment through employment, students receive guidance every step of the way so they can feel confident, capable, and ready to begin a healthcare career.
