This program prepares students for a career supporting accurate, efficient, and compliant access to healthcare services across hospitals and healthcare systems. In just 12 weeks, students gain the knowledge and skills needed to manage critical access functions that directly impact care delivery, reimbursement, and patient experience.
Classes are online, live, and instructor-led, meeting for 90 minutes twice a week. Students learn in a structured, supportive environment while building practical skills aligned with industry standards and real-world healthcare workflows.
Training focuses on essential responsibilities including patient registration and data integrity, insurance verification and eligibility, authorization and referral processes, compliance with federal and state regulations, privacy and confidentiality standards, and revenue cycle fundamentals. Students also develop professional communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, financial services, and patients.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy detail-oriented work, systems and workflows, and understanding how administrative accuracy supports both patient care and healthcare operations. Graduates may work in admissions, registration, scheduling, or centralized access departments across a variety of healthcare settings.
The program prepares students for national credentialing and includes career coaching and job-readiness support. From enrollment through employment,
One (1) year experience in the healthcare or finance industry OR
Successful completion of an accredited college program in healthcare (two or four year program).
Must be 18 years of age or have parental consent.
Must have access to a computer with reliable internet access.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
