Sanford is working hard to break down treatment barriers in order to meet the tremendous mental health needs of the first responders in our state. We are looking for a clinical therapist that has a strong foundation of trauma treatment and has cultural competency in working with first responders (or has willingness to pursue this competency).

Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, and/or Clinical Psychology
- LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LP, PsyD or similar licensure in the state of Michigan or eligible for licensure in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience working in an eating disorder treatment setting
The Role:
This is a full-time position that includes a competitive compensation package and benefits. Key responsibilities include:
- A role in the development of clinical programming services for first responders
- Responsibility for the Individual, Family, and Group Therapy.
- Support for carrying out overall clinical program and adherence to rules, local, state and accreditation regulations and standards.
- Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team for client care.
- Participation in community education and advocacy efforts.
This program will focus on adults over 18 years of age and older.
