Summary: Responsible for promoting the Grayling area as a desirable tourism and special events destination.
Hours: Part time, very flexible hours, working from home a possibility – willingness to work the hours needed to complete the responsibilities of the position to include periodic out of town meetings and trade shows.
Experience: Ideally experienced in marketing, hospitality or a closely related field and any combination of training, education and experience which provide the required skills, knowledge and abilities. A knowledge of the area is a plus.
Language Skills: Ability to write and communicate at a very high level.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, compute percentages, multiply and divide, use whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong familiarity with internet use.
Physical Environment: Must be able to lift small loads from floor to waist up to 40 pounds.
