POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for developing and ensuring effective resource use for mobile drives and donor centers, while ensuring consistent achievement of annual, monthly, and daily collection goals. Through design and execution of a Versiti wide calendar planning and resource assignment process, will ensure the organization optimally plan resources to collect blood in the most efficient and effective way that promotes donor experience, staff engagement, and sponsor satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
Oversee the planning of the mobile drive calendar and related resource assignment.
Maintenance of master mobile drive calendar.
Update and monitoring collection calendar (mobile drives) and non-collection events (e.g. vehicle maintenance).
Assignment of resources (vehicles, automation) to blood drives.
Optimization of calendar and resources, ensuring gaps/variability is minimized, resource alignment.
Partnering to confirm drives.
Hemasphere expertise for drive planning, input, and historical reporting.
Back end data entry into Hemasphere of key information (e.g. directions updates, notes, staff updates).
Hemasphere related maintenance and upgrades (in conjunction with Scheduling Team).
Design, document, and improve process to be efficient and effective.
Engage in production planning to ensure consistent achievement of collection goals while promoting donor, staff, and sponsor satisfaction.
Perform or provide guidance to team on analysis intended to improve the outcomes of drives.
Resolve exceptions to business rules and processes that require management escalation.
Employee development, coaching, and performance management.
All other duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelors' Degree required, preferably in Business or Logistics.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience.
Minimum two (2) years supervisory/management experience.
Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of problem solving.
Skills and Knowledge
Business process analysis.
Blood industry, including core products, services, and customer targets.
Familiarity with Haemonetics' Hemasphere, Hematerra's Hemaconnect, Mediware's LifeTrak, and Crystal Reports.

Strong supervisory skills.

Able to integrate and evaluate multiple variables in decision making, with a focus on balancing staff/donor/sponsor needs while controlling costs.
Manage and communicate impact to staff/management regarding extensive amounts of complex information.
Connect and interrelate disparate ideas/data points such as: logistics associated with staffing productivity, equipment, travel time, blood drive hours of operations, cost per unit collected.
Must be "subject matter expert" in working with vendors, anticipating future business needs, and opportunities for process improvements with "as is state".
Work independently as appropriate, recognizing when to involve key stakeholders and/or supervisor to minimize "lost opportunities" in managing customer service and budget impacts.
