Job Description
Jr. Financial Analyst (Technician level)
Qualified Jr. Financial Analyst candidates for our Roseville, MI office. The qualified candidate must have a High School diploma or certification related to the financial area. The candidate must demonstrate a sincere interest in finance, including one or more of the following:
Consolidate and analyze financial data
Budget management
Provide alternatives and creative recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial results
Benchmarking and process analysis
Reconcile transactions by matching and correcting data
Position Overview:
This Jr. Financial Analyst is responsible for Research and Analyzing financial information, budgeting to help the company make informed decisions, writing reports, and concealing financial data accurately daily.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Analyze and interpret financial and market data to provide logical, repeatable explanations Prepare financial reports on market trends, customer analysis, statistics, cost, and margin structures
Analyze and consolidate budgets and income statement forecast
Process all general accounting, account receivable and accounts payable tasks maintain accurate ledgers by entering transactions to appropriate accounts
Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
Maintain financial statements and accounting filling system assist with budgets and audit process
Calculate variances from the budgets and report significant issues to management
Document workflow, procedures, checklists, and policies for assigned tasks
Monitor day-to-day financial operations within the company and ensure all deadlines are met with accuracy
Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
Perform other related duties as assigned
