Roush is currently looking for an Assembler / Installer to connect parts into more complex components. The Assembler/Installer will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product using your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision. The ideal candidate will have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity with the ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision. This position is located at our facility in Livonia, MI.

As an Assembler/Installer, you will be responsible for:
- Operating typical shop equipment (hoists, jacks, hand tools, etc.)
- Assemble components as required to support production of automotive vehicles and/or enhancements to existing automotive vehicles
- Performing all written documentation requirements for work performed
- Supporting department Quality System and follow any procedures or work instructions provided for assigned projects, such as work requests, shop procedures and/or shop manuals or publications
To be considered as an Assembler/Installer, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, as well as the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to use following tools: drill, hand tools, air or electric power tools, torque wrench and installation fixturing. Safe operation of hoists and jacks will be required
- Must have own tools and rolling toolbox
