Job Description
The Account Executive, Field Sales - Corporates promotes and sells Practical Law Connect, Practical Law, Westlaw, and other legal solution and workflow tools to prospective customer base of attorneys working for Corporations with annual revenue of $750M or less. This position supports the efforts of the Corporates Emerging Accounts organization within Thomson Reuters Legal by growing our footprint.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Account Executive, Field Sales - Corporates you will:
Drive Results: Very prospecting intensive role. Responsible for acquisition of new sales and consistently apply superior salesmanship using consultative and solution-based sales
Closing: Fulfill new sales performance goals identified in the annual compensation plan
Sales Process: Participate in pre-calling planning, client facing discovery calls, create and deliver customized presentations (in person or online), provides written proposals and subject-matter expertise for solutions for individual deals, conduct ROI and business justification discussions
Forecasting Skills: Ability to forecast within 95% accuracy
Product Proposition: Cultivate, maintain, and engage customers on business products in order to promote usage and revenue growth objectives
Client and Market Intelligence: Provide territory market and competitive information to Thomson Reuters for internal business decisions and positions
About You
You're a fit for the role of Account Executive, Field Sales - Corporates if you:
Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales; minimum 6 + years' experience in consultative sales, closing complex software and services sales, and maintaining customer satisfaction, knowledge in accounting/tax acumen is a plus
Have experience selling products and/or services into Corporations with proven track record of new account growth and prospecting techniques
Have experience creating accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform management's strategic decision-making
Self-motivated and strong organizational and time management skills to meet urgent timelines
Able to conduct small and large group product demonstrations and other presentations
Can work from home or office, and travel to customer locations up to 50%
Comfortable and confident conducting face to face, and/or virtual, meetings with prospects
