Culinary Creator
Purpose
Using a person-centered approach, the cook prepares meals of the highest quality and appearance in line with all safety and dietary regulations. Additionally, the cook will orchestrate the delivery of the meal service and clean up during his/her shift.

Artists
- Prepares and serves meals that are highly palatable and appetizing in appearance.
- Creatively meets dietary needs and restrictions while maintaining artistic presentation.
- Serves food in accordance with established portion control procedures and caloric needs.
?Collaborative
- Partners with other dietary staff and nursing staff to ensure that each resident’s total dietary regimen of care is maintained.
- Works with team members to ensure prep, meals, cleanup and kitchen maintenance run efficiently.
- Assists with setting up for the next shift in order to ensure success of team members.
- Works with residents and their families as needed to ensure positive dining experience.
Quality-driven
- Delivers meals in a timely manner.
- Ensures all food is prepared in accordance with safety regulations.
- Ensures maintenance and cleaning occur according to licensing guidelines.
- Ensures that supplies are maintained. May assist with inventory as directed.
- Disposes of food and waste in accordance with policies and regulations

- English language fluently in order to communicate with patients, families, care team, and other team members in written and verbal form.
- Passed a drug screen, 25lb lift test, and general pre-employment physical.
- Maintenance of ongoing required trainings.
