This position will provide high quality, high speed proofreading services of page content, product copy and pricing for all printed material including retail catalogs, direct mail and circular work. This position requires ability to content read and edit text. Shift will be 2:00PM to 10:00PM. Overtime will also be scheduled as needed.

Required Skills
Ability to proofread all jobs within the work team for image position and type accuracy when compared to customer supplied guidance.
Ability to read for context and correct grammar and punctuation.
Ability to perform and/or help coordinate all finalization of job delivery activities within the work team.
Process and transmit files utilizing Macintosh work environment.
Ability to transmit files to customer site for remote proofing.
Assist in job engineering functions to put jobs into work and archive jobs when complete.
Keep accurate records through all production stages.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Ability to read for context and correct grammar and punctuation using copy editing and proofreaders' marks.
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in content proofreading and editing.
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Experience proofreading and editing in both English and French Canadian would be a plus.
Understanding of layout and printing requirements.
Ability to identify inconsistencies in any given publication or document.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail is a must.
The ability to produce independently in a team environment.
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office in a Macintosh environment is desirable.
