About this Opportunity
Provides North American Contracts with various tools and analyses of pricing data, and other applicable data, that will lead to greater understanding of various markets and the impact of critical pricing strategies on potential sales volume, margin, and market share. Uses in-depth knowledge of data and systems related to US pricing and contracting processes to provide business ownership of its system administration, user role security, functional tech enhancements, and ongoing process improvement ideas under guidance of Contracts leadership and within compliance of all internal policies.

What You'll Do

Develops standard and ad hoc reports in support of department and audit needs as it relates to pricing system data, processes, and application-dependent controls.
In collaboration with Contracts leadership and department team members, identifies and advocates for process improvement opportunities and solutions related to processes embedded in technology tools and system functionality. Articulate business impact and new business requirements needed on prioritized system fixes and enhancements when IT resources are required. Provides effectively designed business user test scripts and perform or coordinate testing as needed.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of North American Pricing System and all other software applications that support related Contracts processes in order to fulfill necessary business system administration responsibilities necessary for maintaining proper user security, quality performance and workflows, and key application controls. Documents and delivers user training to Contracts department team members as needed.
Provides inquiry response and troubleshooting to order management, new product commercialization process, and LN teams as it relates to Contracts pricing procedures, contracts and discount matrices set-up, order "fallouts", and system integration points.
Provides regular reporting and analysis on pricing data by creatively segmenting the data in meaningful ways, continue to evaluate the relevance of reports, and seek new, creative and more effective reporting as the business changes.
Provides standardized reporting and ad hoc analyses in order to interpret pricing related data, identify critical pricing issues, and periodically provide business reviews for Contracts leadership and others on key pricing, discount, cost, and margin information relevant to defined business objectives and implemented pricing strategies.

You might be just who we're looking for if you have . . .
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or relevant academic discipline.
Eight to ten years of business experience with analytical and reporting experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Highly developed proficiency with common business data query and reporting tools, such as Business Objects and Excel.
Proven track record of advanced problem solving skills with the ability to identify, define and resolve problems.
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities related to processes embedded in technology tools and system functionality and to articulate new business requirements effectively with IT design and development resources.
Ability to create pricing models and translate data, into meaningful descriptive graphs and visuals, as well analyze the data and communicate to key stakeholders whereby actionable steps can be recommended.
Self-starter with an innate desire to explore (curiosity) and intentionally learn new processes and technologies.
Demonstrates proficiency in all interpersonal communication skill areas to audiences from both business and IT leadership and functional roles: verbal, presentation, listening, and business writing.
