The new graduate selected will go through an initial 6 month training program based in Ann Arbor. Upon completion of the training program, the individual will be assigned a customer service role out of our Ann Arbor office where they will support several assigned customer accounts.
NSK s Rotational Customer Service role is designed for recent high school or college graduates, early in their careers, who are interested in a customer service role. In the program, candidates will build their knowledge about NSK by spending time in various departments within the company. Within the departments, the candidates will work on strenuous projects geared to provide career development and internal growth at NSK. Projects will focus around learning products, servicing customers, and learning and improving existing systems and processes. Upon completion of the initial training program, candidates will be assigned a customer service role with a list of customer accounts. Candidates will then be responsible for managing these accounts including handling request for quotations, order maintenance, expediting orders and forecasting.

Manages customer accounts by following through on requests for quotes, maintaining orders and forecast, working with various departments to meet customer requirements.
Receives and follows through on requests for quotes by investigating customer product requirements, product availability, lead-time and pricing.
May research and prepare a variety of specialized reports related to shipment performance, quality, premium freight, customer trends, correctives actions, customer rating, etc.
Has a thorough understanding of RMAs, debits and credits in order to resolve discrepancies. May conduct training for these issues.
Builds strong customer relationships through professional communication by phone, email, fax or customer website.
An Active participant within a team environment empowered to act and make recommendations to accomplish continuous improvement.
Responsible for carrying the emergency reopening computer as assigned.
Occasionally accompanies salespersons on sales calls involving travel.
This job requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent; preferably an Associate's Diploma and customer service experience.
