Manage all procurement activity for assigned commodities/services or area(s).
Manages competitive bid process for major contracts, negotiates contracts including legal terms, approves invoices and works to solve invoicing issues when appropriate, acts as a liaison between University departments and vendors, identifies potential cost savings opportunities and identifies potential new vendors. May supervise other procurement staff. Senior Procurement Agents will possess the ability compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their job responsibilities. Primary activities and decision-making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree.
- BA/BS Degree and 3 to 5 years of procurement experience.
- 3 to 5 years of healthcare procurement/contracting experience.
- Experience negotiating contracts including legal terms and conditions.
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
