GDIT is looking for a Customer Support Specialist/Business Analyst to support the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) Division of Federal Systems (DFS). This is a remote based role.
Our team provides program support to DFS to manage and monitor the development, implementation, operation, maintenance, technical support, and enhancement of the division's systems and services. The Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS) information is, by statute, made available to child support agencies and a limited number of federal and state agencies. These secure systems and services help child support agencies, employers, insurers, and financial institutions exchange information about child support cases; locate parents; establish paternity, custody and visitation; collect support; and identify fraud.

The candidate responsibilities include:
Serve as liaison between child support agencies and the employer community on topics such as verifications of employment, lump sum payments, income withholding, and new hire reporting
Collaborate with employer organizations, participating in conference calls, and presenting at national, regional, and state conferences on the Child Support program and its services for employers.
Promote employer participation in electronic services such as the Child Support Portal, e-IWO, and e-NMSN
Identify potential system enhancements to federal systems, including the Support Portal, e-IWO, and e-NMSN; elicit and document business requirements and submit change requests
Maintain state contact and information matrices
Respond to state and employer questions regarding employer responsibilities in the child support program
Research federal and state laws, regulations and policies as needed and provide draft policy documents such as Action Transmittals and Dear Colleague Letters
Draft articles for publication in various publications and documents for publication on the OCSE website
Desired Qualifications:
- BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
Qualifications
5 years of experience in child support including an understanding of child support processes is required
Demonstrated ability to work independently, self-manage daily priorities and handle multiple tasks at the same time
Experience in developing agendas, facilitating meetings, and providing call notes and action items after meetings
Ability to understand the customer's direction and strategic priorities, and drive enhancements that aid the DFS in fulfilling these priorities
Experience working and collaborating with a range of stakeholders including senior leadership, subject matter experts, and other internal and external partners.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations for national, regional and state conferences, teleconferences and webinars
Written communication skills with experience creating procedure documents, white papers, analysis outcomes, etc.
Extensive experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
