As a Business Manager you will perform analyses for long-range planning and strategy development and recommend actions to improve profitability and achieve long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities :
Perform analyses on customer processes, to determine detailed understanding of quantitative and qualitative impact of PPG product offerings on customer value drivers and provide data to develop customer value propositions and formulate and recommend pricing strategies
Build and maintain interactive economic models that allow internal managers to input key production and process data and perform "What If" economic analyses of material/process changes
Provide financial data for preparation of annual budgets, BSR, and LRP as well as monthly and quarterly deviation analysis on sales and profit contribution versus Plan and versus Prior year
Capture and analyze all market, competitive, and economic data to assist in strategy development, new product planning, and analysis of new business opportunities, including acquisitions, joint ventures, etc.
Visit customer sites to gain an understanding of the key products and processes within the customer paint shops, and build relationships with the OEM plant PPG site teams
Develop and follow key success factors to assure business strategy is successfully executed
Support the month end closing processes and Authorization for Capital (ACT) transactions
Provide valuable insights through Business case analysis
Position could be remote with monthly travel to the Troy, MI office
Qualifications :
Bachelors' in finance, accounting, economics or similar required. MBA preferred
Prior corporate FP&A experience preferred
Technically proficient in HFM and Oracle
Strong professional presence with the knack for partnering collaboratively with commercial teams to help achieve business goals.
