The Receiving Inspector I inspects and evaluates incoming materials to ensure they conform to required specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspects incoming materials and parts from Suppliers to ensure they confirm to specifications
- Maintains and documents incoming materials and parts from Suppliers
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Excellent computer skills
- Acute dexterity of fingers and hands to inspect parts
- Keen attention to detail and quality
- Excellent vision (or corrected vision) to inspect small parts
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach
- Ability to stand and walk
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally
