· Operator must manage all aspects of a printing job – from preparing a press for printing, through completion of a production run, while monitoring every aspect of the job to ensure conformance with job specifications & in compliance with ISO quality, GMP production & safety standards.
· Completes all production run paperwork including documentation of production issues, such as material problems, down-time & plate or color-related issues
· Constantly monitors quality and press variables, as production jobs are in progress; making adjustments as needed to ensure the colors and registration are accurate throughout the production run
· Communicates with Bindery and Shipping areas to ensure a good handoff of a completed production run
· Identifies opportunities for improving standards, efficiencies and systems
· Maintains a clean machine and work environment, notifying Maintenance of any necessary equipment adjustments or repairs.
Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· Has a high level of mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read & interpret job instructions
· Strong ability to detect imperfections
· Developed fine motor skills to make needed machine adjustments & operate all press controls
· Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries as the position works with moving mechanical parts with potential pinch, cut, and crush points
· Must be able to work overtime as required

Work Experience Requirements:
· Manufacturing experience is strongly desired & knowledge of TS-16949, ISO 14001 policies & procedures are a definite plus!
· 3+ years experience with similar press is preferred
Education Requirements:
· High School diploma or GED equivalency is required
Physical Requirements:
· Position requires constant standing with frequent reaching and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
· Must have good color vision and able to detect color variations
