At Huron Woods Nursing & Rehab, we are a family serving families with the highest level of care and compassion. We are in search of a Dietary Aide responsible for preparing and providing food service that gives residents the sustenance and strength needed to live life to their fullest abilities. Hours are this position are 6am-1pm with potential to be changed to 5:30am-2:00pm.
Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare palatable and appetizing meals in accordance with dietary orders and daily menus
- Assist in determining the amount and type of food necessary to prepare daily menus
- Monitor the use of food to eliminate waste
- Keep work area clean and sanitized
Qualified candidates will have:
- The ability to work in a Long-Term Care facility as required by regulations
- GED or equivalent
- Commercial cooking experience is preferred but not required.
