Job Family: Business Process Analysis
Serves as a lead analyst, providing expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, content management of the GSS Body of Knowledge (GSSBOK), change management projects, and performance measures for very complex and multiple business process engagements.
Essential Job Functions:
Use quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis.
Research industry trends for application of process improvement techniques and best practices.
Partner with business process owners and management on strategic initiatives.
Develop, maintain, and support all operational business processes, procedures and policies.
Develop initiatives and best practices for continuous business process improvements.
Track and communicate status of business initiative projects to management and the wider operations team.
Assist in budget planning, resource allocation, and schedule to implement process improvements.
Plan, implement and monitor business process changes for projects.
Assist in making business decisions relating to system implementation, modification, maintenance, etc.
Develop and maintain business process documentation that will be used as reference for preparing test cases, training documents, etc.
Communicate baseline processes, procedures and policies to the team and assist management with compliance oversight.
Update business processes to meet changing business needs.
Identify process concerns/gaps.
Provide operational assistance to address and resolve actions necessary for process compliance.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with business process development and planning
Experience working with global teams located in North and South American, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East
Experience working in and with U.S. Embassies
BA or equivalent + 8 yrs related experience, or MA + 5 yrs related experience
Certified Project Management Professional (Preferred)
Certified in lean and six-sigma quality methodologies and utilize quality tools to help drive continuous improvement (Preferred)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Ability to conceptualize, design, develop and apply business and management consulting applications and services
Ability to strategically assess clients' business and identify improvement opportunities
Ability to define specific solutions within an abstract environment
Professional level of a language used in the EMEA region a plus
