Overview
Under the production manager's supervision, from the raw mix preparation to the cement silos, ensure the good functioning of the production process with respect to quality and production objectives, daily planning and plant safety and environment procedures.
Responsibilities
About the role:
· Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
· Communicate clearly on information relating to potentially dangerous situations and get confirmation that they are correctly understood.
· Make sure that key equipment is working properly.
· Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
· Check for safety and cleanness in the workplace.
· When necessary adapt the production planning.
· Coordinate all interventions in case of breakdown.
· Supervise the dispatch foreman.
· Take over the direct responsibility for the control of kiln and mill in case of complicated situation.
· Guarantee the respect of the planned consumption of the electrical power.
· Ensure proper use of the equipment in particular to avoid damage.
· Ensure that the following reports are properly filled out: daily reports, shift report, Computer based shift report of incident analysis.
· Is in charge of the composition of raw mix.
· Is in charge of the quality of clinker.
· Is in charge of the quality of cement (follow up of control cards).
· Is in charge of deciding on the use of additives and fuel according to laboratory results
What you'll be doing:
· Interacts with all levels within the department.
· Adapt the tasks of the maintenance crew on shift to the shift situation.
· Adapt the sampling and analysis to the shift quality situation taking into account ISO procedures.
· Call the on duty manager in case of need.
· Collaborate with Quarry.
· Collaborate with the Process Department.
· Collaborate with the Investment Department
Qualifications
We're looking for:
Education: Associate's degree or5years of equivalent experience.
Required Work Experience: 5 years.
Travel Requirements : 0-10
