CTG is currently seeking an experiencedQA Analystto join our automation team for a contract to hire opportunity in the financial services industry. Ideal candidate would know automation, be experienced in writing QA Test plans, be knowledgeable in writing CI/CD pipelines in Azure within an automated testing environment and have experience with Ansible and/or Docker.
Location: Remote
Hours: Must be able to work Monday – Friday during core business hours of 9am – 4pm PT
Duration: 6 months C2H
Compensation: $65K - $75K will full benefits (no 1099 or C2C)
Purpose of the Position:This position contributes to success by evaluating and testing new or modified applications. Will provides Professional Services with support in quality assurance efforts with new clientele. Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of applications economically and efficiently.

Requirements:
Perform quality assurance and testing activities within an automated testing environment
Develop, document, and execute QA test plans and test cases in accordance with functional requirements and technical specifications.
Create and execute regression test plans.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines in Azure within an automated test environment.
Validate application functionality across gui’s, product catalog, integration and batch operations and their alignment with design specifications, and database updates.
Write clear, concise bug reports and effectively communicate with developers and project managers to isolate problems.
Work closely with software developers on review and resolution of issues.
Review test plans and cases written by others for coverage and completeness.
Review requirements and design documentation and participate in design reviews.
Assist Project Manager in planning and estimating efforts - providing input/clarity on testing requirements and level of effort estimates.
Conduct QA on support processes to ensure that the application and support solution meets quality standards and business needs.
Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts and project managers to ensure quality product development and successful project deliveries.
Experience with Ansible and/or Docker
Assist in developing and maintaining quality assurance procedures and standard.
Nice to Have:
Must be technically astute, highly organized and have a reputation for meeting deadlines and budget commitments.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Experience working in agile work environments interfacing directly with Product Owners, SCRUM masters, and DevOps teams.
Development or system configurator background is preferred.
