The Program Associate position is an operations assistant position reporting to the Aid in Milan Program Director. The Program Associate assists in the daily operations of Aid in Milan including customer services, answering phones and the pantry operations responsibilities, ensures that all food products for distribution are stocked before shopping days, coordinates unloading of deliveries and appropriately disposes outdated, recalled or spoiled food items in order to provide a fresh, organized and attractive environment for pantry shopping days.
The successful job candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and have excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of Milan area resources and Aid in Milan a plus. This is a 15 -20 hours/week position but availability on Monday, Thursday am and Friday is a must.
This is an excellent entry level position for the motivated person to gain valuable resume building skills. Includes some training of volunteers, oversight for specific program area and leadership development. This position can advance into higher levels at Aid in Milan.
