General Information: Helen Newberry Joy Hospital Laboratory is seeking a highly competent and motivated individual to serve as Laboratory Technician/Technologist MLT/MLS/MT
Position: Laboratory Technician/Technologist MLT/MLS/MT
Job Status: Contingent; Varied Shifts 8's, 10's or 12's
Accreditation: The Joint Commission, AABB
Salary: Hourly $26.06 - $30.44 plus 5% shift differential if night shift
Required Skills:
Ability to work independently
Accurate and precise performance of laboratory procedures
Willing to take on ownership of instrumentation and become primary operator
Qualifications:
MLT or MLS/MT required
Completion of comprehensive internship in a hospital laboratory
Experience or willingness to train in all areas of the lab. Microbiology, molecular, urinalysis, hematology, serology, chemistry/IA, blood bank, coagulation. Experience in phlebotomy preferred but not required
