Autonomous Vehicle Regulatory Compliance and Systems Engineer

What you'll be able to do:
Knowledge and application of Systems Engineering Principles
Support the delivery of new (unique to AV) features & systems
Support the creation of work products for systems definition including architecture analysis, use cases decomposition, trade-off studies, and system specifications.
Support the quality and functional safety processes (FMEAs, P-diagrams, HARA, etc.) to refine system level requirements.
Support design verification tests on constituent systems (Bench, Vehicle, etc.), analyze results, provide recommendations and drive to implementation.
Support the development of new verification methods and tools for system sign-off including test plans, test automation scripts, and test reporting.
Perform competitive analyses and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies in autonomous driving technologies in the automotive domain.
Lead/support multi-functional initiatives to drive solutions for the AV project
The minimum requirements we seek:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
1+ year of experience authoring new requirements/specifications
1+ year of experience crafting Design Verification Plans & Reports
1+ year of experience authoring new Design Verification Methods
Our preferred requirements:
Experience with model-based systems engineering: SysML/MagicDraw
Understanding of ISO26262 and ISO 21448
Advanced Engineering degree in related field.
Experience with Agile software development
Experience with model-based design: Matlab/Simulink/StateFlow
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
