Each ICT organization is motivated to coach interns beyond what they believe possible and give them the freedom to act independently. Interns that demonstrate outstanding qualities have an opportunity to be selected for various new hire positions upon completing their degree. The internship also provides candidates with the opportunity to apply for a three-year Leadership Development Program at the end of the summer. Summer internships are primarily located at the FCA US Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, or at local facilities in the Detroit metropolitan area.

Technical System Analyst Internship:
The Technical Systems Analyst is responsible for project-oriented activities that improve the overall performance and efficiency of the ICT organization. The successful candidate will design, document, implement, and support business partner requirements, in a fast paced and dynamic environment that is the ideal setting for entry-level IT professionals. Individuals will be accountable for obtaining requirements from technology and application owners and assisting in the implementation of identified solutions using various forms of technology. The successful candidate must be a high-energy, hands-on individual with strength of convictions and be able to present outstanding teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills, in addition to technical skills and adapting to new and evolving technologies areas within ICT.
As a summer intern, you will work in one of the following areas based on interest, skills, and background:
•Data center operations
•Product and powertrain development
•Business analytics and data science
•End User Services
•Mobile application development

•Completion of sophomore year at an accredited university by the summer of 2019
•Majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
•Computer proficient (including spreadsheet, word processing and database applications)
•Technology proficient (including experience with databases and various web/networking technology)
•Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
•GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
•Completion of junior year at an accredited university by the summer of 2019
•Strong interest in automotive industry
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Exhibits strong leadership characteristics
•Problem solving experience
•Good interpersonal skills
•Interested in working within an office or manufacturing environment
