Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition
The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?
You are analytical, methodical, agile, and have a passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) with an interest in building and expanding global recruitment programs. You will act as an advocate for change and work to create strategic partnerships and global programs in alignment with VMware's priorities and working toward our 2030 goals. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and lead strategic DEI programs from Talent Acquisition globally.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
You will drive the development of our diversity, equity, and inclusion recruiting program vision, and make it a reality working in close partnership with leaders across the company.
You will lead a team of program managers while working to build and expand VMware's non-traditional talent programs including return to work, neurodiversity in the workplace, apprenticeship programs, and technical bootcamps.
In the first 6 months you will get acclimated to VMware, build relationships with your team, and collaborate with internal Talent Acquisition partners on targeted DEI programs and priorities. You will also begin to dive into DEI data to identify areas of opportunity to drive change and future global strategic direction.
Within a year you will have helped the team launch at least one new talent program and influenced leaders across VMware to keep DEI at the forefront of their hiring strategy.
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
You will be responsible for the end-to-end strategic direction of DEI talent programs. This could include designing programs, procuring vendors, creating enablement resources, organizing events, and/or managing team budget.
Tracking the success metrics for the team's programs and how they contribute to our DEI hiring goals. This could include using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Microsoft Forms or Qualtrics to collect and visualize the data.
Managing and coaching your team to meet their performance and professional goals and remain excited by VMware's vision for a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce.
