POSITION SUMMARY : The Waste Water Treatment Operator performs operations and maintenance duties on the company's wastewater collection and treatment system, including monitoring, operating and maintaining equipment in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Responsible for the general operation and preventive maintenance
Able to handle equipment weighing 45-50 pounds.
Assists primary treatment, and rendering operation cleaning duties
Operates industrial equipment forklift, man lift, skid steer and tele-handler.
Keeps area clean by performing daily general housekeeping.
Monitors x-ray process, making necessary adjustments.
Able to send operation reports to General Foreman by emails
Has some education on basic chemistry, biology and math.
Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
1-2 years' experience in the operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants associated ancillary and auxiliary equipment and distribution systems.
Prefer those who have high school or GED to obtain waste water operator certification.
Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language to communicate.
Must have passion and dedication to help water conservation, and the environment.
Must have a valid driver license
Hours: 12am to 8am M-F
