Scope of Position
• Ensure that program data and information is accurate, supported by valid documentation and entered within prescribed deadlines, in order to achieve performance goals
Essential Functions
• Maintain and input data into required state and funder systems
• Develop, implement, and oversee the maintenance of filing, record keeping, distribution of materials and other types of office/program systems
• Monitor and update participant activities in state systems
• Prepare and submit documentation and other requested data for program audits
• Meet program deadlines with consistency
• Perform monthly audit of participant file folders
• Review paperwork and databases for accuracy
• Schedule appointments and make orientation appointment reminder calls
• Conduct instructional workshops for participants
• Create and respond to monthly Work Participation Rate (WPR) reports
• Provide weekly and monthly participant status reports to EDSI staff
• Provide administrative support
• Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
• Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Have detailed knowledge of and/or willingness and ability to learn Michigan TANF policies
• Have detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel (charts, graphs, sorting, formatting, formulas, pivot tables)
• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook to manage and arrange appointments and meetings
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
