Position Summary
The candidate must be able to work unsupervised outside/inside of the office. This candidate will also work directly with Construction Technologist, Project Managers and Superintendents in regards to Builders Information Modeling technology in the field and the office. Must be willing to navigate new technology and procedures and obtain information to present to peers. Willing to assist in fields that may not always pertain to this job description, such as helping with construction technology tasks within Pioneer.
General Responsibilities:
• Managing share site that all trades can share files and project information.
• Leading trade Builders Information Modeling coordination meetings
• Building a Builders Information Modeling coordination schedule
• Building combined Navis 3D models of all trades
• Running clash reports for all trades and assist in clash resolution by assigning viewpoints for detailers to reference while clearing clashes.
• Scheduling meetings
• Enforcing operating procedures for all trades
• Attending and preparing for weekly/bi-weekly coordination meetings
• Interpreting contract documents
• Model review (AutoCAD, Revit, Navis)
• On-site laser scanning –This may require traveling to job sites to laser scan. The BIM Coordinator will also assist in the registration process after the laser scanning is complete.
• Scan to BIM – Taking laser scans and creating 3D models to turn over to the owner or for internal use.
• Rendering – Assisting the architectural designer with modeling.
• Revit family creation when needed.
• Coordinate with project managers and customers
Required Skills:

Education & Experience:
• Three years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
• Four years Construction industry experience (preferred)
