GENERAL SUMMARY:
Maintain safe and effective staffing levels for all inpatient nursing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Create and updates the daily staffing sheets in ANSOS. Covers daily staffing needs for inpatient nursing. Monitors employee call-in's.
2. Responsible for all staffing changes to be placed in ANSOS. Ensure we are staffed to matrix.
3. Makes phone calls to employees for staffing needs.
4. Oversees the daily activities of the staffing office. Provides daily assignments to the staffing secretary.
5. Enters exception log edits into ANSOS for payroll.
6. Assigns Contingent/Temp staff and Outside personnel to units as needed.
7. Attends meetings, compiles data for reports, assists Nurse Leaders and Office Supervisor.
8. Consistently adheres to Beaumont Customer Service Standards.

A. Education / Training:
* High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
B. Work Experience: Preferred:
* Staffing and scheduling experience.
C. Certification, Licensure, Registration:
* Preferred: Scheduling Experience with ANSOS or equivalent staffing system is desired.
D. Other Qualifications:
* Proficient Computer and keyboarding skills, knowledge of phone etiquette, Proficiency with Microsoft software: Windows, Office, Excel, Outlook. This position requires self-motivation, ability and willingness to take direction, excellent organization skills, great attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with cohorts and nursing leadership. Must be able to maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
