Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, communicates and works together with customers to configure, install, preventatively maintain, improve and troubleshoot client technologies, medical equipment, their systems and integrations that optimize the end user experience. As the point of contact for problem coordination and resolution, demonstrates customer service skills, empathy and urgency. Serves as resource on technology projects and initiatives. Documents problems and resolutions and escalates appropriately, when necessary. May perform end-user training. Participates in the testing and evaluation of new client technology solutions and medical equipment as well as implementing prototypes. Competent to work on most types of client technologies and medical equipment within a diverse customer portfolio, but at times requires guidance from others.
Essential Functions
Under minimal supervision, working with and for the customers, responsible for the installation, replacement, repair and support of client technology, medical equipment and their systems.
Knowledgeable about the systems used within assigned areas of responsibility, providing troubleshooting and documentation for technology requirements and workflows, while ensuring alignment with Information Services (IS) architectural standards. Serves as primary point of contact for problem identification, and helps drive issue resolution.
Performs event correlation/log analysis, failure analysis/reporting and root cause analysis.
Serves as resource on technology projects, and may take part in end-user training.
Participates in the testing of new client technology solutions and medical equipment, and provides constructive feedback throughout the process.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent
Preferred Associate's Degree or equivalent /Technical school or equivalent
2 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in the field Required
