Senior Staff System Engineer - eDrives
•\tResponsible for evaluating customer specifications and translating the system requirements into DOORS for requirementstotest traceability.
•\tLeading the requirement analysis process with the project team.
•\tNegotiation of customer requirements where requirements may conflict with industry trends.
•\tMain interface to customer for system requirements clarification.
•\tMake design recommendations with evaluated risks, cost improvements, etc..
•\tEnsure designs meet customer requirements & specifications.
•\tEvaluate internal and external engineering design change requests.
•\tSupport customer presentations, interfacing with OEMs on technical topics.
•\tSupport quotation process with technical knowledge of designs to meet specifications and requirements (critical requirements analysis, create project specific system/product architecture)
•\tMain interface with core technical group to understand current base development technology and development status to inform local project teams.
•\tMain interface with core technical group to understand latest innovations in order to create opportunities for business with local customers (products, processes, methods, etc).
•\tExperience in power electronics (inverter and converter) and/or electrical machines development and commercialization, system integration eDrives.
•\tAbility to analyze problems and recommend solutions for mechanical, HW ,SW, electrical machine design and controls, system integration eDrives.
•\tGood written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.

•\tBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline
•\tAt least 3+ years of full-time automotive systems engineering experience
•\t2+ years of engineering experience within power electronics (inverter and converter) and/or electrical machines development and commercialization, system integration eDrives
•\tMasters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics
•\t5 to 7+ years of systems engineering experience specifically related to electrical machine and power electronics development
•\tExperience with ISO26262 (Functional Safety) compliance
•\tExperience in developing safety critical systems
•\tExperience with formal Requirements Engineering using DOORS or similar tool
•\tKnowledge of SAP release system
•\tExperience applying design and development tools as required (FMEA)
