The Customer Operational Readiness Manager is an integral conduit between the business, its suppliers, and contractors and, most importantly, its customers. They are tasked in helping our customers to get the best out of our solutions and liaise with their peers to ensure we deliver the solution to a satisfied customer. They will be involved throughout the project to prepare the customer to operate their complex automated material handling system. This employee can be based anywhere in the continental USA.

Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
Manage process, people and customer relationships while focusing on the customer's project success
Customer point of contact for project operations
Take a data driven approach to closing out operational issues
Lead a cross-functional team of engineers from several technical disciplines
Provide continuous feedback to the Engineering, Project Execution and Sales teams to highlight areas for improvement and areas of success, both need to be fed back into the business
Review simulation scenarios to ensure the deliverability of the design / scope / solution
Provide lessons learned matrix for internal improvements activity
Develop operational and maintenance staffing recommendations for the customer to review
Coordinate training plans to include the customer internal resources that will own the ongoing training
Create mitigation plans to handle key system component recovery
Manage activity within agreed budgets and mitigate NCC's
Lead consultancy projects with our customers
What We are Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Math, Science or Engineering discipline or equivalent by experience
Engineering, operations or logistics background with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
Demonstrated experience of project work or operations management within the materials handling industry
Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project and other MS office suite applications
Lean, Six Sigma qualification would be an advantage
