About this position:
As our Communications Specialist you’ll be the go-to person for developing and executing communications at the internal level and marketing campaigns in the local community for our public Conference Rooms and General Store. This position has a powerful impact within the company as you will also be helping to facilitate communications for other teams, developing and managing our employee communication portal (ie: intranet) and setting the tone for ensuring that staff receives content that is powerful, purposeful and a positive representation of our mission, vision and values.

Core Responsibilities:
- Manage internal communications program and create content for digital internal monitors, staff communications and employee intranet
- Create and distribute content for digital road marque, public conference room monitor and external social media pages
- Serve as a first point of contact for guests – answering multiline phone system, provide basic product and service information to customers, resolve guest inquiries, etc.
- Oversee corporate accounts such as Amazon and UPS
- Assist customers in company general store, process mail, log deposits, coordinate company vehicle key use and return
Minimum Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Communications or equivalent professional experience
- 3 years’ experience creating digital content for internal communications (ie: digital monitors, staff communications, road marquee, social media pages, etc.).
- 2 years’ experience managing an employee intranet or similar internal communications platform
- 2 years’ experience editing/proofing written content
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, social media, publisher and adobe
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
