About the Role:
MRM is looking for a Broadcast Business Manager who can tap into their experience, expertise, and ability to help our creative teams produce high-quality, well-crafted video that will be seen online and/or on television. You will report to our Senior Broadcast Producer in this exciting, fast-paced position and will be responsible for business functions of projects ranging from the simple to complex – and with schedules ranging from 1-hour turn-arounds to several months.
Details:
- Work with producers on all aspects of production
- Review and negotiate third party bids, licenses, and contracts
- Prepare production, talent, insurance, and contracts
- Facilitate three-bids through client procurement teams
- Process talent and vendor payments
- Assist with talent and production estimates
- Maintain a library of executed contracts
- Maintain calendar to track usage, licensing and rights for talent, music, and stock
- Identify and communicate legal or clearance issues during the production process
- Consult legal team on contract templates, risk mitigation, covid compliance and indemnifications
Things That Will Serve You Well:
- Knowledge of advertising and video production
- Interest in negotiation and process implementation
- Multi-tasker and self-starter
- 2+ years of video production or business management
