TecNiq Inc is a high growth vehicle LED lighting manufacturer which produces hundreds of thousands of lamps each month. We have consistent growth and serve in the markets of: emergency vehicles, light and heavy duty trailers, work trucks, marine and agriculture. We are excited to bring on a new Supply Chain Analyst in our Galesburg state-of-the-art facility!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supplier identification and management from request for quotation to delivery, including price negotiation and scheduling, including all relative customs, and trade compliance data and coordination.
Inventory management and coordination to minimize excess material and maximize order fulfillment.
Data analysis to uncover trends and deviations and thereby facilitate proactive inventory, supply chain and demand management.
Manage multiple projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
Drive effective and timely communication between upstream and downstream stakeholders to ensure optimal supply chain performance, agility and flexibility.
Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager, lead initiatives to proactively seek out and champion opportunities for improvement and innovation within the supply chain and in the relationships between the supply chain and other business functions.
Daily tactical duties such as purchase order entry, creation of Certificates of Origin, and other duties will be required.
Other duties may be required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of lean, integrated supply chain principles, and knowledge of Integrated Operations Systems or other process improvement systems.
Add value to the senior management team. Can approach business challenges from a macro and micro perspective to resolve strategic issues effectively.
Strong understanding and experience in SIOP process.
Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and changing priorities; work extended hours when required, make sound decisions under pressure and work effectively in a team environment.
A strong bias for action and is results oriented.
Strong communication skills amongst multiple departments.
Sourcing background and experience is preferred.
Bill of Material knowledge, ERP System setup, Root Cause Analysis preferred.
Must have experience working with UPS, FedEx and other freight carriers.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. BS in Engineering or Supply Chain preferred.
Master’s Degree a plus as well as CPM, CPS, CPIM or equivalent certifications a plus.
Two or more years of operations or supply chain management experience within a manufacturing organization is required.
Experience with purchasing electronic components is strongly preferred
Syspro ERP software experience is a plus
