Maintenance Worker
Title: Maintenance Worker
Location: Paw Paw Schools Maintenance Shop
Reports to: Maintenance Director
Job Type: Full-time, Hourly
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability and willingness to work independently with minimal supervision and the initiative to follow through on job assignments.
Job Description:
- Performs general maintenance inside and outside the physical plant including district-wide grounds-keeping, handling materials and supplies, minor electrical, plumbing repairs, carpentry, moving equipment, operating power-driven equipment, truck driving, snow removal, roofing, mowing, etc.
- Maintains all safety and code requirements of the State, local and Board of Education guidelines.
- Must have ability to perform maintenance in an efficient and effective manner without direct supervision.
- Must possess a positive attitude and have excellent rapport with the public, staff, and students.
- Must have driver’s license and able to pass physical including drug test.
- Background check required
- Other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Salary/Benefits:

Days/Hours: 8 Hours Paid/Day (M – F/6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. which includes ½ hour unpaid lunch)
