Job Description
The Associate Content Steward works with guidance and oversight to assist in the operations of structured content management (SCM) tools supporting structured content authoring, structured content management, and document management. This position participates in implementing structured content authoring processes and standards to support all clinical regulatory writing portfolios, working with guidance and oversight to achieve goals.
Responsibilities of the Associate Content Steward may include but are not limited to:
Develop a working understanding of data content standards and support use of SCM in regulatory documents
Acquire a general knowledge of document templates, styles, and content
Participate in content mapping, with guidance and oversight, during document development
Develop an understanding of Structured Content tools and interfaces.
Learn to assist the end user on implementation, usage and troubleshooting especially integration of tables, figures and listings.
Assist with the creation of selected components of structured content models and templates,
Learn the governance of content models, templates, variables, libraries, metadata, and reuse policies
Participate in tool development cycles including requirements, functional specifications and user acceptance testing
Assist with communication development to users via multiple communication channels such as question and answer boards, reference web sites, user manuals, training videos, company social media
Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Required Education:
- Bachelor's level degree in science, engineering, computer science, analytics or related discipline.
Required Experience:
- Some experience in digital transformation. Some experience in Structured Content Management. Some experience in medical writing and/or clinical operations within pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical research, or related environment is preferred.
Additional skills and experience:
Experience in Microsoft Office applications. High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Attention to detail and commitment to excellence in all aspects of work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Complete fluency in reading and writing American English
