EY's Global Learning function designs, develops and deploys technical and non-technical learning for EY professionals across the world. In the Design and development team, we are applying learning science and proven technology in the development and curation of the best learning content.

As a Project Manager, you will assist Design Leads in overseeing and managing all design activities necessary to deliver learning products that meet EY's design quality standards, on time and to budget. To do so, you will plan the work and monitor the progress of instructional designers, developers, graphic artists, quality assurance specialists and all others associated with the design process.
The opportunity
This role in the global learning team will give you the opportunity to make a difference by helping EY professionals globally grow their skills.
Your key responsibilities
Deliver learning design and development projects on time, to budget and quality standards
Develop a detailed project plan for each project, based on a standard template
Follow agreed processes to manage changes to the project work plan, scope and budget
Manage the completion status of key learning deliverables such as skill analyses, learning solution plans, design specifications, scripts, storyboards, finished eLearning items, facilitator and participant materials, course pilots and deployment plans
Continually communicate status to project stakeholders and alert the operations and resourcing lead and/or design lead if project completion dates face significant challenges and/or issues that may materially impact the overall successful achievement of the expected outcomes within stated timescales
Manage and communicate updates to stakeholders, SMRs, learning consultants and deployment resources; minimize SMR time commitments where possible
Establish and maintain relationships with third party providers, including helping to draft SOWs, reviewing invoices, and ensuring vendors adhere to EY design standards
Coordinate and monitor the work of vendor project managers, designers and developers where applicable
Facilitate regular project meetings
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Initiate and ensure the effective and timely publication of learning content by content administration
Manage project risks and escalate as needed
Conduct handover activities on project completion
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
Minimum of 5 year experience in managing learning design and development projects, preferably at a global level and/or to a dispersed client base
Strong project management skills including developing project plans, identifying risks, and managing stakeholders
Strong influencing and communication skills - maturity to interact with learning leaders, Subject Matter Resources and/or senior business leaders in the organization, and (where required) to resolve issues or challenges as they arise
Strong collaboration skills - to work effectively with other members of the learning and talent teams ensuring that clients' needs and expectations are met
Ability to use learning technology and tools, as well as other relevant talent systems and knowledge tools
Demonstrable experience using project management software, including Microsoft Excel or Project
Demonstrable experience of having built and maintained strong relationships with business customers/clients
Demonstrable experience of working in fast-paced, stressful environments to deliver required results
Willingness to be part of a global team, including working alternative hours when required
Ideally, you'll also have
Higher professional or masters qualification in a related discipline
Knowledge of - and commitment to optimize - learning end-to-end processes and standards
Demonstrable experience coordinating and overseeing the work of vendors
Demonstrable experience with learning management systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred)
Demonstrable experience of managing change initiatives in global, matrix organizations (such as EY)
