The Content Creation Specialist designs and creates high-end courses and training resources for our clients. This position will support both The CD2 Learning and Catholic Faith Technologies teams.
CD2 learning has changed the way people and organizations develop, manage, and connect their members. Access to knowledge is critical to the success of every business and organization. Like CD2, Catholic Faith Technologies helps various catholic schools, churches and diocese connect their faithful.
The teams specializes in working with clients to breathe new life into their online training programs. They create a solution from the ground up combining the best features from learning management, content management, and communications tools. The result is a highly scalable learning platform that delivers the right content to your users at exactly the right time.
*Preferred On-site position: Overland Park, KS*
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in development of conceptual design.
Participate is course storyboarding and coming up with creative and intuitive solutions for online learning.
Work with clients and team to design rich and interactive online training content.
Create instructional training videos.
Design and create customized simulations, activities, assessments, and games.
Create, load and manage lesson content.
Primary responsibility is creating content for Catholic Faith Technologies
$40,000-$50,000/k annually
EDUCATION:
Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience preferred. Equivalent, relevant experience considered.
EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years of experience in graphic design, digital or print layout, or other related skillset.
Experience with Articulate Rise and Vyond a plus.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
Experience and/or comfort with basic video editing software.
COMPETENCIES - SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
Strong ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external team members.
High Creativity and Design background and skills (Applicants asked to provide a portfolio of examples).
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud Software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign a must).
Ability to work on multiple projects and manage deadlines.
Basic understanding and application of HTML/CSS.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills in Audio/Video Production (lightroom) a plus.
