This position will have responsibility for centers in the MIWE and NOEA and therefore can be domiciled in either.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Plan and manage the delivery of education programs based on the company's vision, culture, business strategy and goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILTIES:
1. Select, educate, develop and lead employees within Learning & Development
2. Manage, instruct and facilitate selected education classes including evaluation of instructor facilitation; manage education program scheduling and equipment coordination, as required
3. Review and update existing educational manuals, courses and classes to reflect changes in company policy, systems and government regulations, integrating the L&D PMO and instructional design process
4. Manage, assess, and implement initial rollout education for new policies and procedures, systems and/or government regulations; communicate a core curriculum for all employees and supervisors
5. Manage and develop measurement goals, track performance against goals, evaluate results, analyze past performance and determine new goals on a periodic basis in support of performance Return On Investment (ROI)
6. Manage vendor relationships which include education requests, accessibility of proprietary information and support of new product orientation
7. Partner with leadership to assess educational needs; follow up with employees involved in education courses or programs and conduct specialized education projects as needed
8. Collaborate with leadership to support efficiency improvements; follow up on education compliance processes
9. Research and assess/evaluate learning technologies, techniques, and theory
10. Write, review and edit organizational communication and act as a liaison between various groups involved
11. Participate in company education curriculums as a participant and instructor
12. Develop partnerships with other operating companies to benchmark "best practices" in education
13. Serve on committees or special projects as assigned
14. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
15. Perform other assignments (or duties) as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years' experience in instruction and course curriculum design in a Corporate and/or Military environment or adult teaching in a college or university or Operations related experience
* Good knowledge of project management techniques and processes
* Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Must be able to interact with employees and management across all levels including outside vendors
* Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Knowledge and ability to use applicable operating systems, preferred
* Ability to work independently and as a team member
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Must be able to travel
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule as hours may vary based on operational need
* May be exposed to extreme hot and cold weather changes, dust and fumes in a service center environment
