What You’ll Do….
As a Diesel Mechanic with Star Truck Rentals, you will perform all levels of preventive maintenance services, diagnose and repair malfunctions using computer diagnostic software, identify warrantable repairs, and document repair orders. Our Diesel Mechanics are expected to work in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.

What's Required….
Star requires the following of all our Diesel Mechanics...
- 3+ years of automotive or diesel mechanic experience (preferred)
- Vocational or Technical mechanic certification (preferred)
- A valid driver’s license is required, and, must either possess a CDL or have the ability to obtain a CDL license (required)
- Master Michigan Heavy Duty Mechanic (preferred)
- Michigan State Mechanic Certifications
- ASE Certifications (preferred)
- A positive attitude
